LIMITED WARRANTY The original purchaser may return a new / unused SSLED within a month for a full refund less shipping. You must return it in its original box, preferably wrapped with bubble wrap and placed in a larger box. Always buy insurance on the return package. You may test it by lighting it up with a new 9V battery and still make this return. As with most electrical parts, there is no warranty beyond the free return period. However, in case of a problem, the original owner is always welcome to return their failed SSLED for evaluation and I will do my best to help you. Good Will Options Within the first year, I will attempt a no-cost repair on returned SSLEDs. If, for some reason, your SSLED is judged non-repairable, I will replace it if I am still making SSLEDs After one year, I will attempt a low-cost repair on returned SSLEDs (usually $25). If, for some reason, your SSLED is judged non-repairable, the only replacement option is to purchase a new one at the then current price. If you then order a new SSLED, I will credit you with the fee you paid for attempting a repair. The above good will options will be available only if : you ordered the SSLED directly from me (are the original owner), and your SSLED was installed on a stock 94-96 Impala SS front grille or my billet adapter, and there is no physical damage, and I am still making SSLEDs In all fairness, I should mention that it can be very difficult to remove a SSLED from the grille without causing physical damage. You must work slowly and be very patient. Do not bend the SSLED or the board will crack. Several of you have made successful removals (a removal made without inflicting physical damage) enabling me to make several successful repairs.
